Established 1978
We are proud to be members of Raptor Rescue.
Raptor Rescue was founded in 1978 to care for sick and injured birds of prey and wherever possible release them back into the wild.
All the carers and rehabilitators work voluntarily and are qualified to ensure the birds get the correct help needed.
Over the last nine years Raptor Rescue has helped on average 250 birds per year which without Raptor Rescue would have surely died.
If you do discover an injured bird, cover it with a large cloth or towel and find a suitable cardboard box and place the bird inside. The dark will calm it down and reduce the stress. Please ring the national help line who will arrange for the collection of the bird or give details of who to contact locally to ensure the bird is cared for.
If you would like to become a member of Raptor Rescue and join an organisation committed to helping sick and injured birds of prey then please telephone the help line who will give you the necessary information.
Many thanks for taking the time to read this page.
