Introduction to Falconry
A one day course to introduce you to the art of falconry. It is designed to give you an insight into the commitment needed to take on a bird of prey. It covers:-
It also gives you a completely hands on approach with the birds showing you how to handle them safely. It allows you to fly Hawks and Owls and experience the thrill of flying them free. Also you will take part in flying hunting falcons experiencing them flying at speeds of more than 100 miles an hour and passing within inches of you. The one day course will also enable you to decide if falconry is for you and if you have the time and commitment needed to become a falconer. This will save you time and expense rather than paying for a 4 day course and then discovering it's not for you. A lunch is served during the day and refreshments are available as and when required. The day runs from 10am until 4.00 pm You may take as many photos as you like and also video footage of your day

This is a very special day where you will work alongside our birds and Eagles for the day handling , training and flying them.
This is a day for the person who doesn't want to own a bird of prey but instead would like to experience the handling of Eagles, Hawks, Owls and Falcons and then fly some of them themselves.
You will learn how we train the birds and the type of food the birds eat.
You will handle Eagles, Falcons, Hawks and Owls, and fly Barn Owls, Bengal Eagle Owls, Kestrels, Harris hawks, and Eagles
You will have a truly fantastic experience for the whole day in the company of these majestic creatures and it will be an experience you won't forget!

Bird of Prey Management Course
Taught by Professional Falconers This is a 4 day course for complete novices and for those requiring more experience designed to take you through all you need to know for your first Hawk/Owl etc. This course is probably the most comprehensive and intensive course in the country The course is completely hands-on, dealing with the Housing, Weights and Diets, Husbandry of the birds, Disease, Imping, Coping Making and fitting of the Equipment, Boxing, Manning and Training, Flying and Hunting and Telemetry Tracking etc: After your course you will then be Mentored free of charge so that you will have full guidance behind you from experienced Falconers. A lunch is served daily and refreshments as and when required.

Falconry Weekend Packages
Or Any 2 Days Of Your ChoiceWe offer Weekend Falconry experiences or any 2 days of your choice which includes: 2 nights Bed and Breakfast accommodation with full English Breakfast at a local B/B, Or you can stay in our beautiful 2 bed cottage a very short walk from the centre if available A light lunch and refreshments is provided during the day at our local 16th century Inn . During the evening you can visit our local 16th Century Inn The Merry Harriers where you can purchase and enjoy fantastic food in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The whole 2 days will be spent in a totally relaxing Rural setting where you will learn how to handle and fly the Eagles, Hawks, Owls, and Falcons, learn how they are trained, and experience flying the hawks yourself free in the open countryside. You will also experience hunting falcons flying at speeds of more than 100 miles an hour and passing within inches of you to the falconers swung lure weather permitting. You will also have the opportunity to make and fit some of the leatherwork to the birds. The whole weekend is based around you and from never having even handled a Bird of Prey you will be absolutely confident in handling and flying them by the end of the first day. You are also welcome to take photos of the birds or you can also use your video camera to film your weekend. We guarantee that the whole weekend will be one that you will never forget.

Hunting Days.
These consist of you handling and flying Hawks through the surrounding countryside experiencing them in their natural state flying and hunting.
