Being privately owned it is a stand alone specialist falconry centre which is set on its own among 12 acres in a rural setting. It allows those who have a love of birds of prey to enjoy them without all the noise and interruptions of those centres  that are  attached to an attraction. Here at Yarak our birds are classed as family and  command a huge amount of respect from us. The Yarak centre caters for visitors to walk in on the day and enjoy viewing our birds and watching our flying displays. It also offers hands on experience days for those wanting more which are held separately from the public visitor centre. Yarak is a friendly and informative centre where you can enjoy being around our birds and asking questions of our falconers who are more than happy to take the time to talk to you. Our flying displays  are informative, entertaining and very interactive with visitors and have a sense of humour thrown it at times making them fun and interesting. Yarak is all about the welfare of our birds which visitors will very quickly be aware of.  The birds come first over everything and our falconers work tirelessly to give them the best quality of life they can. Yarak houses 52 birds which includes Owls, Hawks, Falcons, Eagles and a Hooded Vulture. We are professional working falconers and the centre is open all year round for Hands on Experience days. We can also provide quality accommodation in our Barn Conversion for those wanting to do more than a day, or simply stay over to relax and enjoy our tranquil surroundings. Resident at Yarak are the following birds. EAGLES: Chilean Blue, 2 Golden Eagle x Russian Steppe FALCONS: Peregrines, Lanners, Sakers, Hybrid Falcons, American Kestrel, European Kestrels. OWLS: Asian Brown Wood, Pharoah , American Barn Owl, Long Eared, Vermiculated, Chaco, Boobook, European Eagle Owls, Bengals, Magellans, Snowys , Barn Owls,Tawny,White faced Scops. HAWKS/BUZZARDS: Common Buzzard, Ferruginous, Redtailed, Harris Hawks. VULTURE: Hooded Vulture.
